Tofu that tastes like candy! Half-way through eating this meal I was thinking it might be a good way to get a picky kid to eat some good stuff. Tofu, Brussel Sprouts and Cashews taste really good when candyfied! Okay, those things all taste good anyway in my opinion. It was just a thought.
This marks the second time I've made this recipe from 101 cookbooks, but really I ought to make it a regular dish. It's incredibly easy to throw together, involving only a few ingredients that get thrown together on the skillet, and it comes together really quickly. Plus it tastes really good. Last night I used cashews we had on hand rather than the pecans called for, and I also used regular instead of brown sugar. Both of those substitutions were noticeable, but certainly didn't hurt the dish much. Note to self, make this again!

Looks awesome!
Looks yummy! My kids love tofu cooked in teriyaki sauce - I'm sure this would be on their list of favorites too!
