Chuck made us these tasty treats last weekend! Eventually, he wants to figure out how to make something close to the yummy fruit and nut bars we used to pick up for hikes at the PCC Markets in Seattle. This is similar in that it uses corn syrup to hold everything together.
A Googling effort lead to this recipe from Taste of Home magazine:

And Chuck doubled it so we had lots. It was the perfect snack to have when we got home this weekend from an almost 10 mile walk out to Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge. But I'll post about that later this week!

Whoa, those look awesome! If only we had peanut butter in the house....
I think we have at least two jars right now...we do love our peanut butter.
